Our expert at a glance

“Unlike legal advice given in the native language of the client’s home country, advice given abroad in a foreign language entails additional risks even in their native language, many legal professionals do not understand the “legal jargon,” which is not only characterized by a wide variety of technical terms, but has almost developed into a language of its own. If these technical terms are then also used in a foreign language, an error-free communication and consultation is almost a matter of luck.”
