Christian Pelz has been active in the field of commercial and tax criminal law since 1995. He defends companies and executives in criminal and administrative fine proceedings before German and foreign investigative and supervisory authorities. He advises companies on all compliance issues, in particular the introduction of compliance management systems, guidelines, and instructions, the design of processes, and ongoing compliance issues.

He has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations in Germany and abroad and in clearing up suspicious cases. Christian Pelz is an honorary professor of criminal law at the University of Augsburg and has emerged as the author of numerous publications on criminal law and compliance issues.
